School Districts Strive to Support All Students
Services for Schools
Student Services Review and Support
It is an honor for me to assist schools in their endeavors to meet the needs of all populations of students including ELL, At-risk, Homeless, Migrant, Refugees, Alternative high school students, and those at high risk for dropping out of school.
Schools must identify and meet the academic needs of these students. Failing to connect them with the correct social service agencies significantly affects the academic performance of these students in school. It also affects their family and social life to the extent that for some, daily interactions with others, school work, making decisions, or even interacting in a group or classroom is difficult. As a Student Services Specialist, I work with staff to review their programs and create a strategic plan to build educational programs that follows State guidelines as well that are easy to share with employees, the Board, and the Community.
